We picked it because it solves the emailing-yourself problem cleanly and does not pretend to be more. Most of us keep a little graveyard of one-line emails sent to our own inbox just to ferry a URL across the room. QuickClip replaces that with a shared board you can reach from any browser. The free tier holds your last five items across two devices; Pro is $1.99 a month and lifts that to 110 items, unlimited devices, file uploads, and a markdown editor.

The honesty is in what it is not. This is a board you paste into and copy out of, not a silent bridge that mirrors your real clipboard between machines, so there are still two manual steps at each end. The free tier is tight, five items and two devices. Dark mode and file support are paywalled, which is a lot of gate for a tool this simple. And with no maker named on the site, the “0.1 second” sync and the encryption are claims we take on trust.

Our take: if you keep emailing yourself, QuickClip is worth the two minutes to try free. It is a small tool at a small price, honest about its size. Just know you are buying a tidy shared clipboard, not an invisible one.
