Rebounce
A tool that chases the subscription payments that fail, so an expired card does not quietly become churn.
Rebounce goes after the subscription payments that fail. It watches Stripe, Paddle or Square for a decline, then works the problem for a fortnight: it retries the card, emails on days zero, three and seven, nudges by SMS or WhatsApp, and warns customers before a card is due to expire. Plans start at $3.50 a month and take no share of what comes back.
Failed payments are the churn nobody chose. The customer did not weigh you up and leave. Their card expired, or a bank declined a foreign charge on a Tuesday afternoon, and a subscription ended without anyone deciding anything. That makes it the cheapest revenue a small business can recover, because the person at the other end still wants the thing they signed up for. Rebounce is built on that single observation, and it is a good one.
The price follows the idea. Rebounce says 5 to 12 percent of monthly revenue disappears this way, which is a vendor’s figure and should be read as one, but even the low end is loud: at $10,000 a month, five percent is $500 leaving quietly, against a $3.50 bill. Charging a flat fee rather than a slice of the recovery is what separates Rebounce from the tools written for companies that have a revenue team to justify it.
Then there is a line in its own copy that stops you. The recovery sequence runs fourteen days. The trial runs three. You cannot watch a single flow finish before you are asked to pay, which is a strange way to sell a product whose entire case is the number at the end of that flow. Read the plans with the same eye and the most expensive does it again: at $39 flat it promises a “dedicated success manager”, a heavy title for software that runs a sequence, not a person assigned to your account.
Our take: OpenPanel tells you what people did inside your product. Rebounce is for the ones who never meant to leave and left anyway. At $3.50 the arithmetic does not need to be careful, so start the three days on a week you can actually watch, and judge it on your own dashboard rather than the one on its homepage.
